  1. What's your opinion on the genre called "weird fiction", Andrew?

    I'm getting into Algernon Blackwood and like him a lot. Check out his short stories The Willows and Wendigo.

    I want to also get into more Arthur Machen, Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, Robert Chambers, Lord Dunsany, and etc. Poe and Kafka are considered weird too.

    Modern weird fiction writers include Laird Barron and Thomas Ligotti. They write short stories mainly.

    Also, what's your opinion on antinatalism as a philosophical position?:

    And what's your opinion on this I've written?:

    Btw what's your opinion on David Lynch's films? I like him a lot. Lost Highway is very good:

  2. Bow down: I am the emperor of dreams;
    I crown me with the million-colored sun
    Of secret worlds incredible, and take
    Their trailing skies for vestment when I soar,
    Throned on the mounting zenith, and illume
    The spaceward-flown horizons infinite.

    1. Watched True Detective and thought it was pretty good. It was nice to see that Rustin spent time in contemplation, as I haven't considered solitude being so vital until visiting this forum.

      Reading through your arguments on the bio forum I find it disheartening that people respond to antinatalism negatively. It's hopeless, people will reproduce for ever!

  5. Now that you have a group of people that regularly check up your blog, An3rew, why don't you consider starting a reading circle? We can all read a book of poetry or fiction around the same time, and discuss our views, analysis, and interpretations on key passages.
